The National Executive of UNYA Australia is elected by State and Territory Divisions at the AGM each July. The Executive represents UNYA on a national level, coordinates national programmes, links together Divisions and works to assist UNYA members in performing their roles.
Alex Rafalowicz, PresidentAlex, 22, first became involved in UNYA Australia in 2003, after attending the UNYA South Australia's State Conference and the UNYA National Youth Conference in Perth. Alex held the position of President of UNYA SA and Vice-President (Policy) for UNYA Australia before coming to his role as President for 2008-09. Outside UNYA, Alex studies Laws/Arts at the Australian National University. Alex strongly believes in social justice and international cooperation, and is focused on ensuring that UNYA Australia supports young people in their participation.
