As one of the largest networks of young people in the country, UNYA Australia attracts the nation's brightest and most passionate young leaders with an interest in the United Nations and international affairs. With a shared ethos of service and social justice, and a shared experience of UNYA Australia's events and projects, our alumni comprise a broad and diverse community contributing to the public and private sectors.
For an organisation with a global focus, it is no surprise that UNYA Australia's alumni is spread across the world. Past members have gone onto postgraduate study, begun work with international non-government organisations, the public service, particularly the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the political service.
UNYA Australia is making a concerted effort to engage with its past members to reconnect friends and colleagues, recognise past contributions, maintain organisational memory and retain the skills and talents of past members.
