StatesMUN

One of UNYA Australia's principal international activities, StatesMUN is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for tertiary students to visit the United States, take in the attractions of five of the world's greatest cities, attend workshops in the world's top universities, and take part in one of the most prestigious Model UN conferences in the world: Harvard National Model United Nations.

The StatesMUN delegation is comprised of tertiary students aged between 18 and 24 from around the country.

In 2011, the Harvard Model United Nations will take place from February 17th to February 20th, with the StatesMUN delegation touring the United States for a two-week period ahead of the commencement of the conference. During the tour, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in consultations with diplomats, NGOs and members of Congress and take part in in-depth meetings with UN personnel.
